Siesta Tees New Hispanic Themed Apparel Line

Siesta Tees, a Hispanic themed apparel company, announces the release of their new line of designs for 2009. The new and humorous line includes Dora is my homegirl!, Back off! I own a CHUPACABRA!, iChulo and QueTar Hero, to name a few. The online shop offers a variety of t-shirt styles, infant one piece, children’s t-shirts, mugs, caps, aprons and many more items stamped with their designs. Latino folklore, beliefs and “abuelas wise thoughts” were mixed together to create the unique designs and slogans. The designs were created to fill a void in the main stream Latino market, which has become a major force in the
U.S. market.

“Our designs continue to make people laugh, a laugh is good for the mind and soul especially during these uncertain times we face” states Greg Sanchez, owner and founder of Siesta Tees. “We like to keep the family in mind when we create a new design, we are loyal and true to the product we create for the Hispanic market.”

Siesta Tees started with one funny design and now offers more than fifty designs and phrases such as, Stop the violence- hit a piñata, I love abuela, I think the chupacabra is under my bed and Don’t make me use my chancla, all in a variety of colors and sizes. Their online sales shop offers a 30-day return guarantee and a toll free customer service line. “We are in the process of taking our t-shirts from online to retail stores in the near future. We believe the demand is there, and that our slogan will stand true, Creating laughs one tee at a time.” explains Greg.

Very cool! I’m thinking about getting the Chupacabra one as a gift for my nephew. Thanks for pointing out this line of apparel. I had actually never thought of looking up Latino tshirts and what not but will be great come xmas time.

I love this one: ‘Stop the violence- hit a piñata’. When I was a child, I always like going to children party because of the piñata episode. Though I never wanted to hit it myself because of the blindfold. How could I get candies and toys for myself, I’d say then.

“Our designs continue to make people laugh”… I don’t know if it’s always a good idea to be wearing things that make people laugh. How do you know if someone laughs with you or at you??? ;)
